SYDNEY PINK - Fitting that this should be the first one as it is amongst the earliest one I took in Australia.     I was living in Sydney at the time and happened to wander along the paths of the Botanical Garden at dusk. Approx mid-1984.
THE BRIDCATCHER - Another one from Sydney - this time from a wall at Bondi Beach. Great piece of Graffiti Art.     Makes me wonder what the bird is really thinking... Dated around 1995.

WINTER STUDY - Taken in Austria while on a ski trip with friends - spent the night as guests of a local farmer and awoke the next morning to discover this view from the road. Jan/Feb 1982.

DISTORTED - In Melbourne there are a number of fascinating buildings. One of them I call "the invisible building as the reflections in its mirrored windows make it seem totally transparent. The reflections also have the ability to distort the world around it. Nov/Dec 1995.

DOME BEHIND BARS - Almost opposite the "invisible building" is the Great Synagogue of Melbourne.     Its impressive dome is viewed through the window lattice of an office building across the road. Nov/Dec 1995
ICE TREE - An exposed tree high in the snow-fields of Mount Buller is testament to the temparatures that can be experienced even at relatively low altitudes.     This one seems to have caught every droplet from a nearby snow-making machine. July 1998
ALBERT - Someone with whom I am sure I could have been best of friends - that is, after discussion of the relative merits of the energy/mass configuration of the universe as applied to quantum mechanics of bodies travelling at the speed of light while time stood still...
